We are looking to add another member to our team and have a full time Ranch position available in White Sulphur Springs Montana on a 3rd generation family ranch.
Our ideal candidate is a clean, organized and motivated self starter with an open mind and positive attitude and a minimum 10 years experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to all aspects of calving, maintaining overall herd health diagnosing and treating sickness, flood irrigation on 350 acres, fence maintenance, rotational grazing for 350 pairs July – October, moving electric fence, perform basic maintenance on equipment, atvs, pickup trucks such as oil changes, filter changes, bolt on accessories, welding ability preferred but not mandatory, clean driving record and driver’s license required. We mainly use ATVs to move cattle. We currently run 400 bred cows and 180 replacement heifers. We strive to raise, manage, and work cattle in low stress environments. We calve out April 15 for 60 days and ship calves in late October.
1200 square feet 3 bed 2 bath double wide in town included, DOE salary paid the 1st of each month with 2 weeks paid vacation each year. Pickup truck and ATV provided for Ranch work.
