Looking for someone reliable to work on our 400 cow dairy in Kewaunee WI. We milk in a double-12 herring bone parlor and are on a 3 times a day milking. Shifts are 12 hours.
Duties include:
- moving cows to and from parlor/ pen
- using a skid steer to scrape alleys, bed stalls, and rake stalls
- assist in milking the cows with correct prepping, milking, and post care needed
- communicating with owners/ herd manager on trouble cows or calves
- treating for mastitis
- communication with other team memebers
- ability to work with little to no supervision
- some opportunity for long term growth
