We are looking for a (part to full time) farm hand for our small family farm in North Texas. Our farm is only 8 acres to run a cow calf operation of 2 pair and 5-10 llamas.
We are looking for a handy person to help with all aspects involved in a farm including but not limited to: calving, fencing, checking fence/water, maintenance, seeding, repairs, clean up, working on farm equipment, mowing/weed eating, and helping with drainage issues.
This person needs to be a self starter, motivated, willing to learn & listen, as well as see what needs to be done without being told every second.
A single fellow would be welcome to apply. Must have a valid drivers license, be drug free, and dependable. A CDL is necessary. We are looking for someone who has some amount of experience 2-5 years.
Pay depending on experience
