Looking for single person or couple to manage small family farm in Walland, Tennessee. Responsibilities include caring for animals which we consider our pets (llama, 10 goats and 2 geese – more rescues maybe added). You would be responsible for the health and welfare of our pets through proper feeding, housing, disease prevention, medical treatment, enrichment activities and maintenance of a clean environment.
In addition to animal care, you would be responsible for farm and facility maintenance and upkeep including pastures, fencing, barns, pond, farm equipment and home on site. This would entail managing vendors, ordering supplies, conducting regular inspections and managing repairs and maintenance. A more detailed job description can be provided as needed.
Must be highly organized, hardworking, self-motivated, clean, friendly, a good communicator, a problem solver and, above all else, passionate about animals and committed to an excellent standard of care. They are our pets not livestock.
