Walland Goats & Preserve is nestled into the Blackberry Farms community of Walland, Tennessee; just outside of Knoxville in a beautiful and upscale setting. The role being offered is unique, and Walland Goats and Reserve seeks a unique professional to join the team.

Best suited candidates are individuals or couples that prefer empathetic relationships with the animals and land they oversee. It is a hand-on and nurturing role as the goats, llama, and dogs are pets not livestock. The living conditions are A+ in a newly constructed barndominium and comfortably private- yet still proximate to amenities and people.

An ideal candidate is:

  • Sincerely caring and passionate about animals (goats, llamas, dogs)
  • Seeks a caretaking role, self-reliant, and hard-working
  • Would like to live on-site
  • Appreciates and respects professional communication standards
  • Does not need daily supervision and direction
  • Is confident in their ability to identify and solve problems and concerns
  • Is confident in their ability to complete standard farm work, repairs, and maintenance
  • Is passionate about their life and wants to be a part of a team

Timing for the start of this role will be as soon as the right candidate is identified and schedules can be arranged.

Compensation is negotiable and will include at minimum:

  • A+ living arrangements, including utilities and customary expenses
  • Health Insurance
  • Weekly salary/wage (to be determined based upon final roles and responsibilities)

TO APPLY:

Please submit a letter of interest and resume for review.

Sincerely,

Walland Goats & Preserve
