Central Montana family ranch with cattle, sheep, hay, and a small amount of farming. This is a no frills, profitable ranch with older, well maintained equipment.
We’re spread over a large geographical area so cattle and sheep are many times hauled on trucks. We handle livestock in a low stress manner in what are sometimes less than ideal conditions and facilities.
This job involves as much farming as it does working with livestock. Former experience with livestock, a CDL, mechanical aptitude, and ability to safely operate ATV’s would be pluses. This is not a riding job.
This is a full-time long-term position. We would very much like to find an honest, dependable, hard working person to become a meaningful part of our operation. For the right person there can be future opportunities for owning your own livestock, and possibly management.
This position could also work very well for the right couple.
Benefits in addition to salary can be available, depending on your individual needs.
Salary: $2,500-$3,500 DOE
Applicants must have a current valid drivers license, insurable driving record, pass a background check, and submit to and pass a drug test.
