Linn Ranch
(April - September)
Come work in Jackson Hole on the historic Linn Ranch this summer! We are hiring Farm / Ranch Hands to help run our market garden and assist with other ranch projects.
Our family set up their original homestead on this land under the shadow of the Teton mountain range way back in 1905. Jackson Hole has changed a lot since then, but you’ll get to step back in time and experience life here the way it used to be. Spend your days outside in the sunshine digging in the dirt under old-growth cottonwood trees, and help us try to figure out how to farm in one of the most beautiful – and wild – places left on Earth.
What We Do
We grow a high yields of produce in our outdoor garden plots and greenhouses on 1/4 of an acre using regenerative agriculture and organic production practices.
You will be helping prepare raised beds, seed crops, cultivate & harvest, and finally wash, pack, and help us get our produce to customers. We do most of our work with hand tools and limited small-scale machinery in an intensive deep-mulch soil-building system with minimal mechanical tillage. Our goal is to produce incredibly delicious and nuturient-dense veggies, while also building soil health and biodiversity.
Our gardens are located in the center of the Linn Ranch, which comprises 150 acres along the west bank of the Snake River, outside of Wilson, Wyoming (ten miles from the town of Jackson). The Linn Ranch is home to a small cow-calf operation with roughly 20 head of cattle, a legendary horse-packing guiding business, homemade canned goods, fresh eggs, and six generations of Linns.
Job Requirements
We are planning to hire two paid employees this season. Our planting season starts in April and kicks into high gear in May. We will start harvesting in June and doing weekly CSA pickups, along with online orders, restaurant deliveries, a farmers’ market booth, and our farm store. Our season winds down at the end of September.
- must work 8 hours on harvest days (Mondays & Wednesdays)
- flexible schedule during the rest of the week
- must be able to lift 40 lbs
- must be comfortable and have gear to work outdoors in all kinds of conditions

Job Pay / Benefits
Jackson Hole is an expensive place to live, and also a really difficult place to farm. We try to balance those two things by offering a monthly stipend along with the ability to live for the season at the ranch.
- $1800/mo stipend June-Aug (30-40 hours per week)
- pay bump for applicants with experience in small-scale organic/regenerative farming
- pay bump for applicants who already have their own housing
- limited camping-style accomodation is available from June 1st to September 30th
