The Onin Group
The Onin Group is seeking a farm/ranch hand for full-time employment, assisting with the management of 2 farms in Marengo County AL.
One farm is 5 miles south of Thomaston and the other is 10 miles north of Thomaston. Job description includes, but not limited to, mowing, disking, planting, (on multiple size tractors up to 120 horse power), maintaining and filling of wildlife feeders, transporting equipment to and from both farms, general maintenance of shooting houses, keeping equipment clean and maintained, and general errands associated with farm activity.
Company truck provided to travel between the farms and running errands. Experience in working around horses is a plus but not a must.
Compensation will depend on experience but very competitive wage is available to the right candidate. This is a long-term opportunity where a minimum of 40 hours per week is guaranteed, even during the wet season.
During growing and burning season, overtime is expected. Company benefits include health insurance, 401K vacation and holiday pay.
