L9 Farm and Livestock
Ranch of 18,000 acres. We run 400 Black angus cattle. In need of a strong, sharp, loyal, self motivated, wise individual or couple.
Duties on Ranch:
Fencing, water gaps, salt and mineral, calving, rotating pastures, drought management, feeding, branding, gathering, and weaning calves.
The Farm consists of 200 acres irrigated row crops. Half of the farm is irrigated by side roll sprinklers and the other half is flood irrigated on 24” centers. We raise alfalfa, corn, wheat, triticale and Sorghum.
Duties on the Farm:
Daily chores of feeding calves from Fall to Spring. Seasonal calving of heifers and lambing of ewes. Seasonal ground preparation, planting, growing and harvest of crops. Operation and maintenance of heavy agriculture equipment.
Looking for agronomy and horticulture skills. Experience in flowers and florals.
