2,000+ acre alfalfa farm operation in Nevada is seeking a Farm Manager. The day-to-day duties of the manager would be responsibility for both the operation and the profitability of the farm. Some of your duties would include determining when to turn on irrigation, when to cut and bale crop, making decisions regarding the use of fertilizers and chemicals and monitoring the price of crops.
It would be your duty to supervise the farm workers , 7 employees, who perform day-to-day duties, such as planting and harvesting crops. You would be responsible for the upkeep of farm buildings and machinery.
Also care of 250 head of cattle including immunizations, daily monitoring, calving, record keeping, etc.
