We had a cowboy leave for personal reasons and are looking for someone to fill his spot as soon as possible. The job entails taking care of yearlings on forest service grazing allotments until we ship the cattle in mid October. Most of the cattle work will be done by Mid-October but if you are interested in continuing to work through November we can keep you busy with our crew.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fencing
  • Riding horseback daily to check on cattle and make sure they are where they need to be
  • Packing salt blocks and bag salt out to the cattle on horseback
  • Identifying any predator (wolf/bear) kills right away and taking the Wyoming Game and Fish employees in to certify the kills
  • Coordinating day workers to come and assist you move the cattle when needed

Years of Experience preferred: 2 yrs

Housing is provided and we will allow you to bring up to 6 personal horses. Please respond with your resume and references.
