Wilson Ranches
Wilson Ranches Retreat and Wilson Ranches is looking for a full-time crew member with a 9 to 12 month commitment. The Wilson’s are an Oregon Trail family and have been ranching in Eastern Oregon for seven generations. This position involves BOTH hospitality and ranch operations. The ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, positive, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Have to be willing to work weekends. Horseback riding experience is required. Must be 18 years-old to apply. Located in Fossil, Oregon.
Hospitality duties include:
- Breakfast preparation
- Serving and hosting breakfast
- Housekeeping
- Groundskeeping
- Guest Horseback Rides
The cow-calf ranch duties include:
- Responsibilities for 400 head on about 16,000 acres
- Calving and branding
- Herd rotations on horseback
- Irrigation
- Rangeland management
- Fencing
- Horse Care
