Star Farm
We are seeking an individual to maintain our residence and small ranch located near Alvarado, TX (76009).
Duties include:
• Daily care for horses
• Daily care for chickens
• Maintain garden, flower beds, and lawn
• Maintain fencing
• Maintain all equipment
• Maintain building Structures (painting, caulking, etc. as needed)
• Maintain Sprinkler Systems
Required Skills:
• Communication in English
• Ability to bend, squat, climb
• Ability to lift at least 70lbs
• Ability to carry 50lbs for 100 yards
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures of Texas
• General knowledge of mechanical work (oil change, routine maintenance of diesel vehicles, ATV’s, mowers, and tractors)
• General knowledge of plumbing
• General knowledge of electrical
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
• Strong work ethic
• Honest in all things
• Dedicated to seeing a task complete
• Able to self-manage, and prioritize tasks
• Able to keep workspace organized
• Non-Smoker
• No Criminal Record
• Good Driving Record, with no DUI
• Pass pre-employment drug test and ongoing random drug testing
• Pass pre-employment background check
• Flexible schedule, with ability to work evenings and respond to critical needs
