Thundercloud Ranch is seeking a full-time employee to guide Quail hunts as well as maintain the fields and woods, care for and exercise dogs, trail maintenance, seasonal burnings, and fill in as needed.
With the right candidate, housing and training is an option, pay is hourly and based on experience. Ranch has pointers and cockers, all pen raised quail, guided with pointing dogs and flushing dogs.
Work week is 5 days a week from 6am to 2:30pm. Quail season runs from October through March, Wednesday through Sunday. Off season work week is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. During quail season we also offer Pheasant tower shoots where Guides run cockers to retrieve downed birds.
Knowledge of equipment use-tractor, mini excavator, skid steer, carpentry work, moving dirt with a dosser is a bonus!
