Box T Ranch
Looking to add one full-time individual ranch hand to the team.
Must have experience in all aspects of a cow calf operation, and be willing to learn and try the things you don’t know. Please do NOT waste our time if you have no ranch experience, we’re looking for someone that’s ready to go to work.
Horse outfit. We use horses for 99% of our cow work. The ranch will provide for 2 personal horses, and there are ranch horses available for use as well. Side by sides and 4wheelers available if horseback isn’t an option, but we personally prefer to use horses.
Outside of all aspects of raising cattle, we also put up some hay (most of it is contracted out), fence, feed, and maintain the property and equipment, and we’d like someone that’s willing to participate in helping with all of it.
Single bedroom house provided, 45 mins to one town with amenities, about an hour to another.
Ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing all basic ranch duties, have true experience with calving, running basic ranch equipment, and general livestock care.
