We are currently seeking a full-time Ranch Hand to join our team for immediate hire.  Our ranch is located in Web County between Cotulla and Laredo, Texas.  We are looking for a full-time worker.  This person should have a strong background in ranching, a passion for animals and South Texas heat and humidity, be ready to work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain ranch infrastructure including fences, ponds, roads, wells, housing, deer blinds, feeders, and buildings (repair and upkeep).
• Clean and maintain ranch equipment and vehicles.
• Fill feeders, set timers, minor electrical repairs.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment
• Assist with habitat management
• Clean and dress harvested wildlife (deer, hogs )
• General day-to-day ranch operations.

Requirements:

• MUST have a valid driver’s license
• 5+ years of full-time experience in ranch work
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in both hot and cold conditions
• Ability to lift and carry over 50lbs
• Be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Need a  strong background in overall ranch work, i.e. machinery, construction, landscaping, fencing, wells, etc.)
• This position will require physical labor.  Ranch hands and Guides primarily work outdoors, and the work can be strenuous, requiring physical strength and coordination.  Long hours are common, especially during busy seasons.
