Looking for ranch worker who can buckaroo (rope/ride), build fence, run haying equipment (minor obligation) and machinery. Semi truck driving experience is a bonus. Experience around cattle is a must. Needs to be a honest, reliable, hard-working and a self-starter. Position will require worker to be autonomous after trained.
Position pays $2,000 take-home per month. Benefits not provided, covered by workers comp. Housing not provided. Worker would be expected to secure housing in Lakeview, Oregon (rent $500/month max). Vehicle and gas/diesel will be provided for work and commuting between ranches.
Worker would be expected to travel either 45 minutes east or west depending on needs of ranch. Busyness varies depending on the season. Job would include working 4 to 6 days a week depending on time of year. Schedule is flexible. Ranch will board up to three horses for worker.
