All-around farm hand position available on small Montana farm/ranch. This is not a management position; while some basic experience is strongly desired, it is an entry-level job. Will consider seasonal/summer help.
Job may include lots of clean-up work, fence repairs, maintenance of machinery and buildings, painting out-buildings and mowing weeds, some livestock work including tagging/banding/branding calves, possible tractor work during hay season, and various other farm/ranch tasks.
This is not a “cowboy” job and you must be willing to do menial labor as well, including clean-up, painting outbuildings and mowing weeds. You will be working alone or with one other more experienced person. Some farm or livestock skills or an interest in agriculture preferred.
Possible housing. Must have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation, and be legal to work in the United States. No outside dogs, but a limited number of horses are welcome, provided they are used for ranch work.
Monthly salary DOE. Non-smoking workplace.
