Grounds/Maintenance/Gardner:
Seeking strong and self-motivated individual with experience in landscaping, mowing, fencing, weed control, irrigation. Handy-man skills such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical as well as other similar tasks is a bonus. This person must be able to do physical outdoor work and would be responsible for planting and maintaining annual and perennial flowerbeds around the ranch. This person will assist with the planting of new trees and shrubs, and their maintenance year round, including watering, weeding, pruning, removing dead limbs, as well as cleaning up tree limbs along roads and paths. Knowledge or skill with using tractors and Skidsteer would be helpful or having the willingness to learn. Other responsibilities will be cleaning and preventative maintenance of all equipment associated with the job.
Must be a responsible person who takes pride in their work, works well with others and has high integrity. Experience will dictate salary level.
Housekeeper:
Seeking detail-oriented person to assume responsibility for guest services in family lodge, houses, guest cabins and pool cabana, including interior and exterior cleaning of all facilities, hosting in the lodge for small events, and assisting with other activities as needed such as, preparation and set-up; serving food for events, for example cook-outs; tear-down, washing and replacing linens once guests have left the ranch. Maintaining housekeeping supply inventory as well as inventory for other necessities for the ranch will be required. Hours will vary depending upon the season but generally average from 10-15 hours during low use time (May-August and December-February) to 30-40 hours per week (September-November and March-April). Additional details will be provided upon interview of candidates. Must be a responsible person that takes pride in their work, works well with others and has high integrity.
