Housekeeper / Groundskeeper Needed (Single or Couple)
Cienega Ranch is seeking one dependable individual or couple (no children) to assist with Airbnb cleaning, guest hospitality, and general property care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a quiet rural setting and takes pride in maintaining a peaceful, guest-ready environment.
Location
Remote high-desert working ranch in southwest New Mexico / southeast Arizona with open space, privacy, and exceptional birdwatching. Hiking nearby in Portal, AZ, including Cave Creek Canyon.

Responsibilities
Airbnb Cleaning & Guest Hospitality
- Turnover cleaning of 4 Airbnb units
- Laundry and restocking
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Courteous and professional interaction with guests
- Attention to small details that enhance guest experience
Grounds & Property Care
- Maintain approximately 1 acre of grass
- Ongoing care of a 2-acre landscaped compound with trees and pond
- Keep grounds attractive and inviting for guests
- General light upkeep
Owner Travel Coverage
Owners travel periodically and are seeking someone who can keep the ranch operating safely and smoothly in their absence, serving as a reliable on-site presence.

Scheduling
Work hours are flexible and self-directed based on guest turnover and seasonal needs rather than fixed daily shifts. Reliability and timely completion of responsibilities are essential.

Housing Provided
Private furnished 800 sq ft, 1-bedroom home with:
- King bed
- Washer and dryer
- Mini-split A/C and heat
- All utilities included (fiber internet, propane, electric, water, trash)
- All Airbnb operating supplies provided for your use

Compensation
Furnished housing provided plus **$1,500 per month** in exchange for approximately **100 hours per month**. Hours may be negotiable based on skills, experience, and responsibilities assumed.
Workers’ Compensation insurance provided.
Paid as a 1099 independent contractor.

Ideal Candidate
Dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, naturally hospitable, and able to commit to at least six months in a quiet, rural environment.
