We are looking for a retired couple to work on our ranch which is located 30 minutes east of Sarasota, Florida.
Work in exchange for RV lot and salary— on nice private ranch in SW Florida within easy reach to Sarasota and Bradenton shops, restaurants.
The duties that need to be accomplished are: fencing, painting, irrigation, (water lines and troughs), operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractor, UTVs, weed wacker, zero-turn mower etc, pasture maintenance and rotation, feed and care of cattle( 30 head), goats, chickens, ducks, etc, barns, perform weed control and maintain fruit trees and organic garden.
As you know, this type of position is not an 8 to 5 job, though we will work with you to accommodate your needs for time off.
Very nice, RV lot with 50AMP service is available. Background check required. No drama. We have a quiet, peaceful habitation.
We would like to have a husband and wife team who loves the rural farm life and who are looking to make a long term commitment. This work/living arrangement is not suitable for children.
