Briggs Cattle Company
Immediate opening for Full Time Head Cowboy. Applicant must have the ability to lead a crew and work well with others.
Must be able to proficiently ride a horse. Must have knowledge and understanding about cattle behaviors, be able to identify sick cattle, segregate and treat sick cattle and return to home pens accurately. Applicant must be able to receive and ship cattle by weighing and counting.
Other duties include cleaning/maintaining water tanks, horse barn/stalls, hospital and processing areas, fencing and other duties as required.
You must have at least 5 years experience at a feed yard.
Workdays are Monday-Friday and every other weekend. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and qualify as insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance guidelines.
