We’re Hiring: Cattle Herdsmen / Ranch support staff; Full-Time Position on a beautiful 1,800 acre cattle ranch located in the Ozark Mountains with many amazing views and miles of a nice creek that flows right through the center of the ranch!
We have many different operating parts: We are a seed stock operation raising both registered 100% Full Blood Black Wagyu, registered Purebred Black Angus. We also have a farm to table beef production operation raising high quality beef for chefs as well as our own restaurants. Our beef is born, raised, and finished on our ranch. We are looking for a dedicated Cattle Herdsman to join our team to assist our ranch manager. We are a family business looking to continue growing in many areas. If you’re passionate about cattle, raising the highest quality beef, and enjoy working in the outdoors, this is a great opportunity to be part of a growing operation.
What You’ll Do:
- Daily care and management of cattle
- Assist with calving, breeding & herd health
- Maintain and building fences, welding experience is a plus, upgrading ranch roads, helping maintain equipment & facilities along with hay production and planting.
- Record keeping & coordination with farm management
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with cattle required
- Strong work ethic & attention to detail
- Comfortable working in all weather
- Valid driver’s license
