Herdsman needed for award-winning registered Angus herd in the foothills of the Ozark mountains of NW Arkansas (10 miles from OK). Experience needed for calving, tagging, & vaccinating newborn calves as well as health checking cattle and horses. Herd is 100% AI breeding so heat detection after synchronized breeding is necessary.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for health and feeding livestock, electric & barb wire fence maintenance for intensive grazing. Will be responsible for all property maintenance including mowing and weed eating. Interest in registered cattle marketing, halter breaking and showing a possible with a few select individuals would be an asset but not a requirement.
Must be a self-starter and motivated individual with strong work ethic. Cute newly remodeled fenced farm home on a beautiful year around creek is included. Salary is commensurate with experience and ability. References required and must pass drug test.
