Looking for full time help in our HORSE BARN 5-7 days a week. Hours are somewhat flexible; we are willing to work with your availability if you’re a good match for our farm.
Experience is a preferred Additional requirements: you must love horses, be dependable, communicative, and have your own transportation and housing. Main tasks will be basic barn work (see below item list) but you will also be dealing with brood mares and foals, so if no prior experience you must be confident and committed to learning and handling horses professionally. Possible opportunities for you to train horses if you have experience and references. Other opportunities and added responsibilities may be available.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Cleaning and bedding stalls
- Turnout/bringing in
- Blanketing
- Baths
- Hay/water
- Cleaning dry lots
- Keeping barn clean and tidy
- Driving tractor (with manure spreader)
