We are an equestrian facility with many years in the making. We have been around since 1965. With that said, we love horses and appreciate the value and impact that their beauty and nature has on our lives. We are blessed to be busy and are looking for the right person or couple to bring their passion into our lives. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced horseman who knows the ins and outs of horses, horse’s behaviors, and their well being, and someone who can handle them with ease and confidence from youngsters to high strung stallions. Feeding and turn out duties will be a part of the day, including meds, IV shots and knowledgeable eyes for distress. Farm maintenance/pasture care/machinery overseeing/ will be the bulk of the job outside of horse care.
We also want that someone to understand farm equipment and be able to use it without having instruction! Tractors, mowers, manure spreaders, bobcats, excavators, welders, hay grapples, etc. If you are this person, you know what I mean. Farming requires many amazing skills and if you have those …. we can’t wait to meet you!
We want to be a family. We support your love for the land and want to incentivize your love for this lifestyle. There are a few acres that can be devoted to your passion for the right partner. We have also started bees and are eager for the right partners to take the available acres and CREATE.
Salary: Based on experience and housing needs. Willing to pay for all costs to come for a working interview for the right fit.
