El Capitan Ranch
El Capitan Ranch is a 214-acre coastal ranch, located along the Gaviota Coast in Santa Barbara, California. The property’s rich “vaquero” history dates back to a land grant from the King of Spain in 1769, and is today being restored with operations focused on the teachings of Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman. The ranch contains large scale facilities for multiple disciplines. Current operations include horse breeding, training and sales, a cattle operation, and special events. There are multiple barns, paddocks and arenas, a 14-acre polo field, and endless trails.
