Animal sanctuary in mountains of beautiful Southern AZ seeking experienced horse & ranch caretaker. Feeding, cleaning/filling water tanks, heavy lifting, manure removal, tractor work, maintenance, all part of the job.
Work is 2 hrs, AM and PM, for one person for basic feeding/cleanup chores, less if owner is there helping. Paid position for someone who can perform all duties and has horse caretaking abilities (recognizing lameness, colic, etc).
Please be honest about your experience, skills and capabilities – there is a lot of manual labor involved. Worker with RV preferred, possibility of housing onsite – a nice 38 ft RV, security deposit will be required.
No smoking (severe fire hazard), no heavy drinking, no drugs and no drama. Other work opportunities depending upon ability. We have full hook-ups.
We are located at 5,200 ft, surrounded by National Forest, lake at end of street. If you have never been to the area, it is 20+ degrees cooler than Phoenix.
