The job offers basic living quarters in a one-bedroom apartment in the horse barn, with utilities paid. No more than one horse and one dog will be permitted with employee.
This is a great opportunity for someone to learn from a high-level competition trainer and AQHA breeder.
No task is eliminated from the position: stall cleaning, grooming horses, trimming hoofs, feeding & watering, irrigating fields, weeding grounds, dragging arena, running tractor to feed or miscellaneous chores.
The main job is starting colts aged 2 years and up and working ground training on all others from foal to age of 2 years old. Experience riding and training young horses in western pleasure is minimum requirement.
No set hours, one day off per week on weekend and another half day during the week, as needed. Starting pay is paid weekly in cash. The month salary plus board for one horse/ one dog, and apartment with utilities.
