The Powderhorn Ranch/Diamond Land & Livestock is looking for qualified individuals to fill combined horsemanship/ranch hand positions for 2026-2027. Hirees will be assigned a string of horses to ride and train for our sales program, under the supervision and management of our senior staff. Areas of responsibility will also include feeding and barn chores, monitoring herd health and condition, teaching and handling horses from weanlings and unstarted 2-year-olds up to mature saddle horses, and assisting on the ranch with tasks such as fencing, cattle work, facilitating guest horseback activities, and additional duties as needed.

This salaried position will be at least one year long, with possibilities to stay on longer. We provide housing, ranch transportation, and a grounded, family-friendly work environment.
