Blackfoot Horseshoeing
Apprentice will work alongside a skilled farrier to learn the trade of horseshoeing. While on the job, apprentice will lead horses, trim hooves, shape and nail on horseshoes.
Candidate must have a strong work ethic, be self motivated, reliable and physically strong. Previous work with horses is preferred, but will gladly train a willing candidate. All farrier skillsets needed for this position will be taught.

About Blackfoot Horseshoeing:
Blackfoot horseshoeing is based in beautiful Kalispell, Montana just a few miles from Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park, and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. This is a mobile table farrier business that travels to various ranches and outfits throughout Montana. A two man team will work to trim and shoe many horses and mules throughout the season, which runs from approximately May to October.
