Cedar Cove Ranch & Resort (CCR) is 700 acres ranch and resort in Eustace TX with gorgeous beauty, fun-filled adventures & luxurious lodging. Whether the customer is a sportsman, a couple or family, OR wanting to host a retreat or wedding, Cedar Cove Ranch & Resort is a perfect getaway and venue located only 1 hour from Dallas!

CCR is a small business growing rapidly! We are looking for motivated & passionate candidates, with great customer service skills, and with ability to work in a fast paced small business style environment.

If you have guest services administration and hospitality industry experience at a hunting ranch, venue or resort, this position may be right fit for you. This is a fast paced environment, which requires you to pay attention to details, while being able to multitask and prioritizing what is most critical.

Hospitality Management:

  • Ensure all guests have a great experience
  • Creative ideas on representing CCR and providing high class hospitality to the guests
  • Ensuring all amenities and lodging are kept at highest excellence
  • Working with hospitality staff, hunting guides and housekeeping staff to ensure lodging and activities maintained at the highest standards
  • Ensure meal presentation is very well set up – plated or buffet style set up
  • Personalizing Guest experience – ensuring details are considered while planning a guest experience
  • Support Activity Calendar Management (working with GM)
  • Lead Meal Management Coordination – catered and cooked on-site
  • Planning, organizing, and managing the daily hospitality operations to ensure efficiency
  • Building Guest Relationships on behalf of CCR
  • Support meal prep if necessary/occasionally
  • Ensure to provide service to get 5 star reviews

Administration & Guest Services:

  • Once the booking is complete, support with administrative tasks
  • Administrative Guest Services duties such as email confirmation, collection of payment, ordering meals, sending and developing guests itinerary, coordinating items with General manager
  • Work with sales team to ensure that the guest calendar details are accurately set up
  • Ensure all waivers/agreements are sent and executed (on-site and before arrival)
  • Follow the CCR policies and process, and support improvements on workflow
  • Lead set up for corporate retreats and weddings
  • Support coordination of the events/weddings on the day of
  • Development of agendas and room assignments
  • Complete wedding planning worksheet, and support layout development, wedding timelines and such working with the brides

Critical Required Skills:

  • Experience working at hunting ranch and/or wedding venue industry
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Ability to handle phone calls
  • CRM experience
  • Multitasking and working in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with different planning systems – Google Calendar, MS Todo, Excel, Booking Software

Desired Skills:

  • Chef/Cooking will be given, considered a huge plus
  • Wedding Coordination, a big plus
  • Hunting Ranch Experience, a big plus
