Established hunting and fishing 4,000 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country is now accepting applications for a Host Couple to manage our Lodge, hunting operation and guest services. We can accommodate 35 guests at a time.
The position is active 9 months each year from mid August to mid May and can be made year round for the right couple.
A mature couple with an RV and no pets would be preferred but not necessary.
This is a great opportunity for a retired but not tired couple, wanting to live an adventure and be surrounded by great people. Our guests are like family.
Job Duties would include but not limited to the following:
- Be responsible, clean and friendly.
- Check in / out guests
- Manage lodge and cabin facilities.
- Oversee cleaning and cook staff.
- Oversee guides and Ranch hands.
- Report daily and weekly hunting and harvest activities to owners.
- Be familiar with hunting and fishing families.
- Be able to build and maintain a campfire and Be a good story teller.
- Understand the basics of Hospitality and Customer Service.
- Be comfortable in a Faith Based, Family Friendly atmosphere.
- Cook and Clean when needed.
- Be a very good communicator.
Company will provide a ranch buggy and truck.
FREE onsite RV hook ups with Wifi.
2 weeks vacation.
$50k-$70k per year depending on experience and capabilities.
