Applicant must be willing to work long hours and weekends during the hunting season and be able to withstand the summer heat. Ability to lift 50+ pounds is necessary. Guiding/Ranch Hand experience or a degree in a wildlife related field is preferred but not required. Keeping a positive attitude, the willingness to learn and maintaining an uplifting morale is paramount to the overall performance of the ranch.
Responsibilities for the Guide/Ranch Hand will include, but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Weekly upkeep of the ranch headquarters
- Filling and maintaining all corn and protein feeders
- High-fence and low-fence repairs
- Basic mechanical maintenance of ranch vehicles and large equipment
- Wildlife habitat improvement (spray/clear brush, plant fields)
Circle T Ranch is a commercial hunting ranch. During a large portion of the year, ranch staff will be attending to and guiding hunting clients. Hunts may include whitetail, quail, dove, hog and ducks.
