Magnum Guide Service is a Christian-based guide service that has hosted more than 10,000 clients over the past 41 yrs in Alaska, New Mexico & Texas (including booking safaris to South Africa). MGS is steadily expanding and needs to hire more professional and safety minded persons to join our team. During the 2025 Texas whitetail season our clients harvested hundreds of whitetail deer not to mention tons of exotics, turkey, predators, pronghorn antelope, hogs & javelina. We are busy guiding hunters!

Experienced whitetail guides, including potential interns who may not have professional guiding experience but have an “extensive big game hunting background” willing to work hard at gaining experience through an internship are encouraged to submit a resume.

Salary: MGS guides are paid a daily rate, when guiding $150-$225 per day DOE. Additionally, guides earn tips from guiding hunters. When combined, guides earned $350-$600 per day during the 2025 season. This is strictly performance based and our guides must be professional & safe with our clients at all times. Interns average $2,500+ per month DOE plus food & lodging. If Interns advance enough in their level of learning to earn the opportunity to guide hunters they will get a portion of the tips. When Interns advance enough to become MGS guides they will receive guide wages. When guides are doing normal ranch labor or wildlife management work they are paid hourly @ $18-$20 hr plus food & lodging.

Intern positions start July-September and may extend into January depending on skill level. Guide positions start in September and may extend into May depending on skill set.
