Hunting Guides, Packers, and Camp Jacks Wanted – Idaho Unit 17
Join our premier outfitting team in the rugged and beautiful Idaho Unit 17! We’re seeking skilled, hardworking individuals for the upcoming season. If you’re passionate about the outdoors, experienced in backcountry operations, and ready for an adventure, we want you!
Positions Available:
- Hunting Guides: Lead clients on big game hunts (elk, deer, bear). Must have expert knowledge of Unit 17 terrain, game tracking, and client safety. Idaho guide license preferred.
- Packers: Handle stock (horses/mules) for packing gear and game. Requires strong horsemanship, packing skills, and backcountry navigation.
- Camp Jacks: Maintain camp operations, including cooking, gear setup, and general camp upkeep. Must be organized, resourceful, and comfortable in remote settings.
Requirements:
- Experience in hunting, packing, or wilderness camping.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in challenging conditions.
- Knowledge of Idaho Unit 17 or similar backcountry areas a plus.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Details:
- Location: Idaho Unit 17 (remote backcountry).
- Season: April 15 to June 30.
- Compensation: Competitive pay, DOE. Room and board provided in camp.
