Job Description:
Primary Duties:
- Continue to develop hunting business in consultation with the owners.
- Maintain current deer feeding program and make changes as needed.
- Work as an outfitter for hunts and all tasks that are associated with that.
- Find and develop best hunting locations for hunters, i.e. placing ground blinds and tree stands locations.
- Maintain current hunters’ relationships and working with owners to develop plans to increase hunters/customers.
- Identifying new opportunities to grow the hunting business.
Secondary:
Manage tasks and guests for our Airbnb cabins that we rent out (only 2 cabins, maximum 10 guests) as well as our horseback riding guests (answering questions, showing accommodations, etc.)
As Needed:
General ranch and cattle tasks when needed and when time allows.
Qualifications:
- Verifiable work history as a whitetail deer outfitter.
- Verifiable ranch work history.
- Outgoing personality with strong verbal communication skills.
- Someone that is a self-starter and can work with little to no supervision.
- Have normal computer skills, emails, record keeping, internet research, etc.
- Normal mechanical skills, minor repair skills, basic welding, etc.
- Has the physical ability to perform duties.
- Must have references.

- Friendly, welcoming and professional appearance and demeanor with strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be punctual and dependable
- A desire and ability to spend a significant time outdoors
- A passion for the outdoors – hunting, shooting, fishing
- A passion for providing high quality guest service
- Attention to detail a must
- Ability to observe and solve problems with a minimum of supervision
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be available to assist guests after-hours, if needed
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
