Travel &Amp; Adventure…Texas To Arizona, Locate Land & Design/Build A New Farm!
Equine farm consists of 132 acres in NE Texas, private facility with 48 horses, no outside or boarded horses-closed farm. Horses only, no other animals at this time.
I am seeking a person or working couple (NON SMOKERS) that is an all around knowledgeable maintenance/handyman and has some equine experience AND if a working couple ideally a woman that will specialize in caring for the horses. NOTE-prepping this farm and horses for marketing prior to RELOCATING TO AZ. I will be putting this farm located in Texas for sale ASAP, then plan to move to AZ and build a new farm in the mountains on irrigated acreage.
There are $11,000 in bonus funds. Initially, there will be a time period of about 5-8 weeks to complete maintenance and repairs for marketing the ranch, then sell here and ideally you will assist with the Westward move, build new equine facilities and remain on the new farm permanently caring for the horses and facilities (in the past I have totally built two farms in CO and TX and look forward to the future AZ adventure).
POSITION IS PERMANENT. Live on site, all utilities included (including high speed internet, WIFI and 42 inch TV with 250 channels/Dish TV), limited space on this farm, minimal room for children except the possibility of one child. Pay is commensurate with responsibility, abilities and experience.
The needs of the horses comes first, period.
PRIMARY MAINTENANCE & REPAIR DUTIES: minor fencing, tree cutting, mowing pastures with 15 foot batwing shredder, tractor/loader operating, weed eating fence lines, cleaning barns, power washing facilities-inside and out, minor carpentry/electrical/plumbing, welding and straightening damaged gates and panels, general mechanical and maintenance abilities (all around quality handy man).
I DO NOT EXPECT ONE PERSON to be able to do everything listed above, however you must be able to perform most of the above list and have a valid driver's license.
