Ranch Intern Job Description
Location: Live Oak & McMullen County, Texas
Seeking a motivated and hardworking Intern to join our team for the fall season (summer-January). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ranch operations and learn about the day-to-day activities involved in managing a ranch in South Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Fill protein and corn feeders. Monitor water troughs.
- Assist in maintenance & upkeep of ranch property & buildings.
- Assist with fencing and pasture management.
- Mowing, bush hogging, brush maintenance.
- Landscape maintenance.
- Assist with game cameras, scouting, and processing.
- Keep blinds clean and in good condition.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in agriculture, wildlife and ranch management.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Well-groomed and presentable at all times.
- Previous experience with livestock or farming is a plus, but not required.
- Valid drivers license & TX hunting license
