Triangle X Ranch
Triangle X Ranch is seeking a wrangler to lead kid’s rides . Each week during our peak season we host as many as 20 children from ages 6 to 12. Children have their own riding program and do not ride with adults.
Our kid’s rides are very similar to adult rides and all horse activities happen out on the same trails that adults ride. Our kid’s rides will even trot and lope.
The kid wrangler position is extremely important. Not only are we trusting kid wranglers with the safety and well-being of children, but providing these children with a fun and memorable experience is very important.
This position would start immediately and would run through mid-October. We typically don’t have many kids at the ranch after August, therefore kid wranglers will transition to leading adult rides.
A successful wrangler at Triangle X Ranch values personal growth and works well in a team environment. While extensive horsemanship skills are sought, we are looking for an individual who is willing to conform to the practices or our riding program. This is a very customer-service oriented position and applicants should enjoy working with people. Responsibilities include; guest and horse safety, leading trail rides, horse care, saddling, guest interaction, fixing fence, clearing trail, morning horse roundups, pulling shoes, and many other ranch-related and guest-oriented duties.

Requirements:
- Must be able to work through October 15th
- Must pass a 10-year felony background check and drug test.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Due to the dynamic of employee housing we do not allow pets
