Large diversified Ranch is seeking 2 hard working Ranch hands, please see descriptions below. Must posses integrity, respectful, hard-worker and be a team player that follows instructions and understands the ranching industry please. CDL is a plus or willing to obtain is preferred but not necessary.
* Ranch Hand/ will have a minimum of 2 years real time on a working ranch. Duties include but not limited to; fencing, calving, lambing, doctoring, infrastructure and repairs, branding, pasture rotation and property maintenance. We do seasonal haying, should have some knowledge with farming equipment or willing to learn but prefer some knowledge with the equipment. Will work alone and along with the crew. Must be a team player and take pride in your work….Housing is a large Bunkhouse with private room! Plenty of space for privacy. Furnished.
* Lead Man-Ranch Hand/ will have a minimum of 5 years real time on a working ranch. Note:" this is not a foreman or management position"! this position will require you to work directly under the direction and supervision of the Manager. Job duties are as same as ranch hand but will Lead off and be of an example. Will work alone and along with crew as needed. Must be a leader and follow instructions well! Military background is a plus. Must be a team player and take pride in your work….Housing is a small 2 bedroom older trailer on 1 acre, ok for single or married person, possible one child is fine as trailer is on the small side. Can be furnished or bring your own.
Both positions require long hours! especially during seasonal events, this is a working ranch, not a 9-5 position. Livestock go 24 hours a day, not banking hours, just reality.
Please absolutely NO Drama, heavy drinking or disorderly behavior is tolerated.
About us: This ranch has been in operation since the beginning 1900s, we run sheep and cattle we use Livestock Guardian Dogs that stay with all sheep, we do seasonal haying and are located near the beautiful Teton mountains in Montana. We are rural but have two small towns near by for amenities with the nearest city being 1 hour away.
We use 4 wheelers and Horses and have ranch trucks for use on ranch. We are family oriented, hard working and always strive for improving and growing the ranch.

*We will feed 1 horse if used on the ranch for ranch work.
DO NOT APPLY! if you think this is an ’equine center’ we are not! Your horse experience needs to be ranch related working off that horse as tool.( if you bring one) . There are no arenas here. Horseback maybe 40%-50% of the time so you will not be strictly horseback, unless your horse can do fencing, and other ranch duties as needed.
