ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on live-in caretaker for a private residential property near Anna, Texas. This is a practical, active role for someone who loves being outdoors, is comfortable with maintenance and repairs, and genuinely enjoys dogs. You will be the eyes, ears, and hands on the ground, working 4–5 hours per day and reporting daily to our management team. Accommodation is provided on-site. Please note this is a month-to-month position as the property is currently listed for sale.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Care for two Great Pyrenees dogs on the property — feeding, walking, general wellbeing
Lawn maintenance using a tractor mower — regular cutting and upkeep of grounds
Minor repairs around the house — basic DIY and handyman tasks as they arise
Equipment repair and maintenance — keeping tools and machinery in working order
Coordinate and oversee contract services (cleaners, electricians, plumbers, pool service) during their visits
Be present to greet and admit authorized visitors — real estate agents, inspectors, management staff
Daily communication with our management team via agreed channels

REQUIREMENTS

US citizen
Valid, clean US driving licence
Clean & Sober – Alcohol and drug use on the property are not permitted
Own vehicle — no company vehicle is provided
Comfortable with and fond of large dogs
Proven basic handyman / DIY skills — able to problem-solve practical issues independently
Strong, reliable communicator — responsive and proactive
Comfortable with month-to-month employment (property is on the market)
Available for handover on July 20 and to start fully on July 21, 2025
Able to live on-site full time
