Seeking a ranch hand or couple to live full-time on a 65 acre recreational ranch in Columbus, TX.
Housing provided – large house separate from family house, utilities included.
*Duties:*
- Complete care for animals of the farm (cattle, horses, chickens, etc)
- Maintenance of pastures and landscaping
- General handyman and repair abilities (fences, pipes, equipment, etc)
- Keeping workshop, tack room, and all other areas clean and organized
- Maintenance of two stocked ponds
- Maintenance of the main house and all equipment on the ranch
- General cleaning of the main house once a week
*Qualifications*
- Must be professional, organized and able to complete work in a timely manner.
- Must be excellent communicators with the ability to clearly update the Owner’s on all aspects of the ranch.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Cattle experience is a must.
- Horse care experience a plus.
- Pond maintenance experience a plus.
- Gardening experience a plus.
