West Texas Cattle and Guest Ranch is looking for a hard working Lodge employee that is a self-starter with a positive attitude to work in our lodge. The ranch is 45 miles from basic services, but in two school districts with bus routes to ranch. This is a full-time permanent position that offers Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, paid vacation time and a modern home with electricity and water provided.

The positions requires the following work.
– Assist in accommodating up to 50 guest at a time during hunting season (October-January)
-Assist in accommodating up to 40 children and 8 staff members during kids camp (June-July)
-Assist in accommodating contract employees during cattle gatherings or ranch improvement projects
-Cleaning absentee owners home
-Cooking and serving from simple pre-established menus
-Keep lodge and kitchen clean and presentable
-Keeping lodge manager informed of any lodge repairs or issues that need to be addressed
-Answering office phone and taking messages

Must pass a back-ground check, maintain a driver’s license, and be able to write and speak English. Being able to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.

No indoor pets and only two dogs or cats. Two broke geldings are allowed per employee and are maintained at ranches expense.

We are open to people with all levels of experience and are willing to train anyone that is capable of accomplishing the job.
