Hard working American family farm looking to fill a long term position.
You must have the physical ability to lift heavy hay bales and be physically active 5 days a week. You must be comfortable working in all types of weather. We are in the mountains of East Tennessee, a hidden gem of beauty in the wilds. A willingness to see a project thru till the end no matter how frustrating it becomes. Being able to pivot and change your work day based on what Mother Nature throws us each morning. Being a team player is important but being able to work alone is key. We work long days and being able to have a sense of humor is a must to keep us all sane..because this is not a job it is a lifestyle.
We run several large pieces of farm equipment so being comfortable behind a tractor along with trailer skills are needed along with an understanding of carpentry, animal care, feeding, seeding, fencing, butchering and everything in between. Must be comfortable with a chainsaw. We are an organic farm that is working hard to bring our land back to its best potential. Tons of infrastructure happening over here.

Shared Housing (with private bedroom) included with two other farm hands in their mid 20’s and a dog. No couples or families. We provide pasture raised meat, milk, eggs and seasonal produce as a part of your salary.
Must have a valid drivers license and car. No drugs/smoking/vaping/heavy drinking. We are a strong conservative family that is no nonsense with our kids on property. Family values are incredibly important to us.
