Triangle X Ranch
Triangle X Ranch is accepting applications to fill multiple positions. Triangle X Ranch is located in beautiful Grand Teton National Park and is ideal place to work and enjoy a summer. Join a team of 60 seasonal employees working on one of the most established Dude Ranches in the industry.
A wrangler at Triangle X Ranch must be a responsible team player with excellent horsemanship skills and can provide first class customer service in a safety conscious state of mind. Responsibilities include; leading trail rides, horse care, saddling, guest interaction, fixing fence, clearing trail, morning horse roundups, pulling shoes, and many other ranch related and guest oriented duties. Must be 21.
As an irrigator you are responsible for maintaining a daily rotation of flood irrigation dams in our 2000 plus acres of horse pastures. We employ two irrigators and you will work together to keep our pastures in top condition. You are also responsible for maintaining fences and various other ranch related duties. During haying season you may also help put up the hay, so previous experience with farm equipment is a plus. Must be physically fit and able to walk long distances.
Scenic River Guides:
The primary responsibility of a scenic float guide is to provide enjoyable and informative interpretive float trips on the Snake River to visitors of Grand Teton National Park. Guides can expect to average 3 trips per day, with the average time of each trip around 3 hours (2 hours on the water). All rowing and maneuvering of the raft is the responsibility of the guide.
All selected applicants will be required to successfully complete our guide training before graduating as one of our professional river guides. Previous rowing experience is not required, but any oarmanship experience will be given higher consideration.
We are looking for outgoing, responsible and hardworking individuals who excel in the customer service industry. Guides must be very safety conscious and work well in a team environment. Must be 21.
Requirements of all positions:
• Must be able to work from middle of May through September
• Must pass a 10 year felony background check
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Due to the dynamic of employee housing we do not allow pets
• Free room and board (you will have a roommate)
