The Ranch at Rock Creek
The Ranch at Rock Creek, located in Philipsburg, Montana is now hiring wranglers and ranch hands for the 2023 season! Our most successful employees are those who are self-motivated, confident, good at multi-tasking and creating special connections, and who, above all, show impeccable work ethic.
A love of the outdoors and an adventurous spirit are crucial. The desire to work as a team and go above and beyond the call of duty when necessary is what makes our Ranch so special. We hold weekly rodeos that wranglers are encouraged to compete in! Learn to drive very nice teams as well. We run approx. 50 pair of registered Simmental/Angus cross cattle that there is great opportunity to work with based on interest. HOUSING PROVIDED, NO OUTSIDE HORSES OR PETS
Must possess the following qualifications:
- Western riding experience
- Practical teaching, training, or guiding experience (must have worked in a barn or ranch centered setting)
- Ability to ride various types of horses, and different age and training levels
- Basic equine first aid
- Must be able to lift 50lb
Preference given to those with:
- Rodeo experience
- Driving Teams
- Cattle experience
- Tractor Driving
- Wrangler Experience
- Those who can stay from March/April 2023 – End of October 2023
