Spotted Horse Ranch
Responsibilities include:
Oversee ranch maintenance
- Maintenance of grounds, buildings, septic and water systems, and equipment
- Oversee construction and repairs of ranch infrastructure
- Responsible for ranch equipment, hay production and irrigation
Supervise wranglers, guides and Hunting camp
- Work with manager in hiring wranglers, guides and packers
- Purchase and repair tack as budget allows
- Set up and maintain backcountry camps
- Maintain Forest Service use records
- Set up wrangle schedule
Livestock
- Purchase and sell horses as needed and budget allows
- Veterinarian care of stock
- Purchasing of hay and feed for horses
Salary DOE, profit sharing, health benefits, IRA available after vetting period. Year round housing provided, meals provided May 1st – November 1st
5-7 years of experience in guest ranch/outfitting or similar field of work current foreman available for training
