NOW HIRING for Spring Bear Hunts with Camp Jack’s in the Idaho Selway Wilderness!
Looking for motivated packers and guides to join the Camp Jack’s team for the 2026 Spring Bear Season in the beautiful Selway region of Idaho.
Positions Available:
- Packers (horses & mules)
- Assistant Guides
No experience required — we will train the right people!
What we’re looking for:
- Hard-working, reliable, and positive attitude
- Able to work long days in remote wilderness conditions
- Comfortable with camping, hiking, and backcountry life
- Team players who can handle physical work
- Must be okay with early mornings and unpredictable weather
Perks:

- All camp meals provided
- Experience the remote Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness
- Gain valuable backcountry and outfitting skills
- Possible future opportunities for full-time guiding
Season dates: Late April through early June 2026 (exact dates TBD based on tag availability)
