Southwest Colorado Outfitter looking for reliable employee June-November.
Summer work includes backcountry weed spraying, starting and working with new and green animals, and general equipment and maintenance work.
Fall works consists of setting outfitting camps and packing hunters and game in and out of camps.
Experience riding young and green horses/mules, shoeing, and solid math skills are a plus.
Work is throughout Colorado in the summer and in Southwest Colorado in the fall. Must be comfortable working independently in the backcountry. Must be able to lift 50-70 repeatedly in the course of a day.
Pay depends on experience. Summer wages start at $150/day and fall wages begin at $1800/month. Higher starting wages may be offered to a more qualified person.
Work is primarily from tent camps; meals provided. We would like to make this a long-term position for the right person. Please email a resume or work summary to our email.
