Beautiful 240 acre ranch in Lompoc CA is in need of an experienced ranch hand. Hands on work to patrol property, mend fencing, make sure right to pass signs are secure, oversee game cameras (switch out batteries and chips for security review), interface with local vendors and continue warm relations with neighboring properties.
Cattle are being removed from the property – our goal now is to return the property to nature. Allow the property to rest and repair. The property will be offered to home birds of prey or other wild life suitable for habitat transfer.
Applicant needs to be proactive, maintain security and oversite of the property. Flexible hours, 3-4 visits per week, 2-4 hours per visit.
Ability to work well with others, communicate weekly accomplishments or areas of concern.
